For Law Enforcement Officers
Formed by Rocky and Shannon Smith, K9 Officers helps law enforcement agencies obtain K9 units.
Our goal is to meet the needs of as many officers as possible while putting top-quality dogs in departments where they will be properly utilized and well cared for to help keep our communities safe.
We do not guarantee that every applicant will receive a police K-9 as demand exceeds our capacity to supply; however, we will review each application carefully and will contact you after the review.
How to Apply
Complete the application, which is divided into three categories: handler, mid-level supervisor, and head of agency.
K9 Officers is run by volunteers and works tirelessly to donate as many professionally trained K9s as possible.
We require quarterly statistics, photos, and notifications of the positive impact the dog is having on the community so we can keep our donors informed about the long-term impact of their donation to our community and law enforcement.
Please attach any documentation that will support your answers to this application to help our Executive Board make a more informed decision about placing a K9 with your department. You may attach common file types of photos, documents, etc. at the bottom of the application.
After our Board has reviewed your application, we will contact you by phone or email to follow up with your department.
