K9 Nemo, a Belgian Malinois, was imported from Europe after being selected for his intelligence, athletic ability, and desire to work as a team with a police officer. Nemo was donated to Alvin PD and served there until he retired after being diagnosed with a very rare, inherited heart condition. At that time, he became his officer’s spoiled family pet. K9 Nemo sadly reported his End of Watch on April 13, 2018. He will be missed by all of us.
