K9 Rocky was a Malaherd. This big boy thought everything was a toy for him to play with. He worked hard but loved his family even harder. He saved his handler’s life from being stabbed with a samurai sword, was the first K9 to ride in the Memorial Hermann Life Flight for K9s training program, and was always a huge favorite of everyone in our organization. Rocky got to spend a couple of months living at the founders’ home at one point in his career and quickly became a part of their family as well. This dog was incredible and did so much to help his community. We can only hope to have many more like him. Rocky passed recently in his sleep. Run free big boy, you are missed every day.
